Job Description

Wilson College invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Accounting for the upcoming academic term at our Chambersburg, Pennsylvania campus. We seek educators who are passionate about student success and committed to excellence in teaching. Position Summary The successful candidate will teach an undergraduate Accounting course that introduces students to the accounting cycle and the preparation and interpretation of financial statements.
Topics include:
The accounting cycle Preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flows Asset and liability measurement Internal controls Business structures Ethical considerations in financial reporting
Class Schedule:
Tuesday & Thursday, 1:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. This is an in-person teaching assignment on Wilson College's campus in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or a closely related field. Ability to teach in person at the Chambersburg, PA campus.
Preferred:
CPA credential. Two or more years of college-level teaching experience. Relevant professional experience in corporate accounting or a related business environment. An engaging, student-centered teaching style and enthusiastic classroom presence.
