OPEN RANK FACULTY POSITION NEUROSCIENCE/NEUROANATOMY EDUCATOR MEDICAL COLLEGE OF GEORGIA AT AUGUSTA UNIVERSITY

The Department of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine (DNRM), in collaboration with the Office of Academic Affairs at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG), Augusta University, invites applications for an open rank full-time, non-tenure-track educator position. We seek a creative and innovative educator who will contribute to the design and delivery of neuroscience and neuroanatomy curricula for medical, graduate, and other health sciences students. Teaching responsibilities will span a variety of instructional settings, including large-group lectures, small-group learning, and laboratory sessions. The successful candidate will advance the educational mission of DNRM and support interdisciplinary initiatives within the School of Medicine through participation in educational research, faculty development, curriculum and course design, assessment, and educational leadership. The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is a state-supported, comprehensive academic medical center dedicated to training physicians and other health professionals to meet the health care needs of the state of Georgia. Founded in 1828, MCG is the flagship medical school of the University System of Georgia, the state's first public medical school, and one of the largest medical schools in the United States. The Department of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine currently comprises 27 primary faculty members whose research focuses on fundamental areas including neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders, brain injury, learning and memory, neuroprotection, neural development, inflammation, and regenerative medicine. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
