Malcolm X College is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer to teach

CE HLTH 5000

Provider Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist Certification for our Community and Continuing Education department. The lecturer will provide industry-focused instruction on provider enrollment, credentialing, compliance, primary source verification, CAQH applications, CMS enrollment, credentialing files, and audit readiness. The course prepares students for entry-to-intermediate level roles in healthcare organizations, managed care, and credentialing verification settings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Adapt teaching methods as needed. Process students' records per Malcolm X College guidelines. Plan and conduct activities that provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Monitor students' performance to make suggestions for improvement and ensure that they satisfy course standards, training requirements, and objectives. Be prepared to teach this course in-person.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must hold a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) credential through NAMSS and have relevant professional experience in provider credentialing and enrollment. Ability to create comfortable environment Experience working with diverse population Ability to operate technical equipment and computer software.

WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

This position is based at Malcolm X College. Courses may be offered on campus and may include daytime, evening, or weekend assignments depending on program needs.

SALARY RANGE

$50-80/hr Compensation is determined by the approved instructional rate for each course section assigned.
