This role focuses on maintaining compliance with Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) standards, keeping mandatory student and teacher files organized, assisting staff with required health and safety training, and supporting executive leadership with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Responsibilities DHR & State Compliance:
Apply working knowledge of Alabama DHR performance standards to ensure office records and facility operations meet state guidelines.
Student & Teacher File Management:
Maintain, audit, and update confidential physical and digital folders for all students and teachers, ensuring all state-required forms, health records, and credentials are present and up to date.
Training Assistance:
Assist teachers with tracking and completing required DHR, health, and safety training hours.
Software & Data Tracking:
Use Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) to manage spreadsheets, log data, and organize administrative files.
Operational Flexibility:
Perform general administrative duties and assist wherever the Director of Operations or Executive Director needs support. Skills Model Christ-like behavior both in and outside of the classroom. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Work collaboratively with other staff members. Promote the mission of Nazaree School both individually and institutionally. Protect all children from physical punishment or verbal abuse by anyone in any program activity, and immediately report any such incident to the director. Attend all professional development opportunities provided by Nazaree School or other agencies as recommended by the director.
