Closing Date The duties include but are not limited to: Assists school staff with all aspects of student attendance.
Serves as a liaison between the school and the Division of Student Support Services.
Maintains high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students.
Participates in in-service training programs as assigned.
Performs any other duties requested by the principal and approved through the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services. This position is for the 2025-2026 school term only. Assignment for subsequent years is contingent upon continuous funding. Pursuant to Section 4(3)(b) of the Students First Act of 2011, time employed in this position shall not count towards non-probationary status or tenure with the Mobile County Public School System due to the fact that the funding and duration of this position is finite.
QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED - High school graduates from regionally accredited schools or those who have GED equivalent. Duty Days 187
Salary Range:
From/To $12.00 per hour Part-time - Hours not to exceed 19.5 per week
Additional Job Information •Applicants selected for classified positions must undergo (or have undergone) an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the MCPSS and State of Alabama Education Department) and be declared suitable and fit to teach under state law. Applicants selected must also pass a drug-screening test via forms provided by Human Resources during the selection process.•
