Job Summary Under general supervision, this position provides intermediate to advanced administrative, academic/instructional, and program support to Academic Advisement and related student services. The role requires working knowledge of department policies, procedures, software, tools, and processes, and involves performing tasks that may vary from specific instructions to moderately complex responsibilities. Essential Functions 30%
- Provides comprehensive support for Academic Advisement Prescreeing Team through an online intake form, phone, chat, email, and other technology as needed. 20%
- Places students into appropriate virtual queues, reviews student accounts for advisement readiness, schedules appointments with Field of Interest Advisors, and refers students to the appropriate departments based on service needs. 15%
- Offers general information and assistance to students, faculty, and staff regarding advising services, financial aid, international student services, veterans services, testing, and other student support functions. 10%
- Conducts outreach efforts, including phone and email campaigns, to support enrollment, retention, and student success initiatives and provides other duties as assigned. 25%
- Provides student needs assessment and administrative support for Prescreening operations; coordinates daily communication among team members, the Prescreening Coordinator, advisors, and student services departments; participates in training and professional development; and trains and supports new Prescreening team members in coordination with the Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications Experience in working within Enrollment Services, specifically within Advisement and/or Prescreening Customer service experience Excellent listening skills, including attention to detail, quality-minded Effective verbal and written communication skills Experience and ability to navigate computer databases and basic office equipment, including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Internet, Chat, etc. Punctual, reliable, able to multitask, organize, prioritize and meet project deadlines How to Apply Applicants are required to submit a resume showing how the applicant meets the minimum and desired qualifications.
