- create a supportive place for teens to engage in healthy, enriching activities beyond the school day;
- provide increased supervision for teens and pre-teens during late afternoon/early evening hours;
- improve academic achievement and emotional well-being of our students;
- provide access to enrichment opportunities that many of our students may not otherwise receive. This position is a 25% position
- 10 hours/week.
The After-School Assistant Program Director will work from 3pm to 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesdays. The main responsibility of the After-School Assistant Program Director will be to work with students as well as assuming the additional duties of planning the after-school program schedule, managing student sign-ups, communicating with staff, students and families, coordinating with enrichment organizations and volunteers, and managing the day-to-day functions of the program.
