Job Description

Position Title:
Superintendent The Superintendent will oversee the construction of a podium build comprising 75 units across four floors of stick apartments. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and efficient completion of the project while managing a diverse team of tradespeople. The Superintendent will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, coordinating subcontractors, and managing daily operations on-site. Challenges may arise in managing subcontractor relationships and problem-solving daily. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
Salary Range:
$150,000 - $200,000 /
Year DOE Superintendent Responsibilities:
Arrive on-site at 7 AM Conduct weekly Foreman meetings Facilitate weekly safety meetings Maintain daily logs in Procore Document daily work progress with photographs Be the first and last person on-site each day Monitor safety and security Open and close the site daily
Superintendent Requirements:
Five years of superintendent experience Experience with at least one podium project of 40 units, ideally three such projects, preferably in California Ability to read plans Understanding of the sequence of podium project builds Experience managing a minimum of 40-50 tradespeople Consistent multi-family build experience OSHA 30 certification is preferred A trades or hands-on background is preferred
