About Pasadena Christian School:
Pasadena Christian School is an independent Christian K-8 school that serves a diverse community, ethnically, economically, and in terms of Christian faith. Together, we have served the Pasadena area for the past 80 years. The primary mission of Pasadena Christian School is to provide its students with the spiritual development and academic training needed to become men and women who are worthy representatives of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Job Summary:
The Extended Care Staff has primary responsibility for providing supervision and a play experience that supports Pasadena Christian School's values and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises students during the Extended Care Program. Assists with the planning and implementation of ongoing after-school activities (i.e., check-in, walkie-talkie support, crafts, cooking, games, etc.) Prepares and cleans up the program and activities as needed and/or requested. Maintains school security procedures (i.e., supervise computer check-out of students by parents or authorized individuals). Junior Staff (staff persons under the age of 18) work together with staff (18 and older) in supervision of students. Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to maintain positive relationships. Attendance and participation in staff meetings Daily/Weekly for preparing, planning, and training. Scheduled Staff workdays.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma

Physical, Mental, and Visual Requirements:
Able to lift, bend, grasp, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs. Able to maintain confidentiality, work in a busy environment, learn, and retain information. Possesses a genuine commitment to Christian service. Has initiative and creativity, is highly productive, and is flexible. Agrees with the school's statement of faith and the purpose and goals of PCS in providing an integrated Christian education.
Technologies:
Proficient in Google Apps and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Compensation:
The hourly compensation for this role is $18.57 . Pasadena Christian School will conduct a background check on all final candidates
Pay:
$18.57 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 per week
