Job Summary Job Summary Reporting to the Sr. Director of Student Services, the Assistant Director of Student Services is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of school counseling programs, MTSS behavior strategies, mental health supports, career pathways, and college access programs. This role involves overseeing partnerships with academic institutions, community colleges, and business partners to ensure students' seamless transition from K-12 to college.
Requirements / Qualifications
Unwavering commitment to the organization, its mission, and core values. Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), and educational data standards. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of public education and charter school movement, preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in School Counseling or related field. Meet CA licensure and credentialing requirements in school counseling. Minimum of three years of successful college counseling and career pathway experience. Previous work experience in charter schools, preferred.
