Employment Type Full Time, Management Job Summary Job Summary Yav Pem Suab Academy (YPSA) is seeking a hands-on, student-centered Assistant Principal to help lead our TK-6 school community. Working alongside the Principal and school leadership team, the Assistant Principal supports instructional improvement, staff development and supervision, student achievement and behavior, family engagement, assessment, compliance, and effective school operations. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the work—supporting classrooms, developing staff, solving problems, engaging families, and helping create a safe, positive, and academically focused school environment. YPSA is a small-school environment where administrators are expected to be accessible, collaborative, adaptable, and accountable. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving throughout the day between instructional leadership, staff support, student needs, parent concerns, meetings, compliance responsibilities, and the unexpected issues that naturally arise in school operations. Candidates must possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential OR provide proof of current enrollment in a California Administrative Services Internship Program.
