SF STEAM
Academy, a new K - 5th Grade private elementary school, is looking for a Head of School. We are looking for someone experienced, organized, responsive, flexible, hard-working, reliable, responsible, and truly committed to elementary education.
REQUIRED
School startup experience Elementary school teaching experience School leadership experience Master's or higher degree Familiar with best practices and principles of elementary education in California Criminal background clearance
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
All aspects of starting up a new school - marketing, admissions, planning, purchasing, setting up systems, hiring, etc. Payroll Accounting (tuition, application fees, deposits, tracking purchasing and other expenditures) Supervision and guidance of all school staff Typical HR functions Plant maintenance Ensuring the educational goals of the program are being met Accountable for the safety and well-being of all children and staff on site Ensuring smooth and safe daily operations Salary will be annual, competitive, based on experience, include benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off).
