Job Description

Position Summary Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position(s) available in the Undergraduate Advising department. Start Date Position available on or after November 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. Job Description/Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Assist with front desk coverage for both Career Services and Undergraduate Advising, including greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff and other guests. Check the main phone line voicemail and forward messages as appropriate. Respond to emails, phone call in a professional and timely manner. Actively and regularly communicate with suite staff using email and Teams. Check students in for appointments. Develop and maintain proficiency in the use of EAB/Warrior Connect to support students, staff, and faculty. Assist students with scheduling appointments through Warrior Connect. Become familiar with Career Services and Undergraduate Advising Programs, services, resources, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information and appropriate referrals. Assist with preparing materials for workshops, advising events, orientations, and outreach activities. Provide support during Undergraduate Advising Programs, Career Fairs, networking events and other campus events as assigned. Provide workshop and event support, including setup, check-in, and participant assistance as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units. Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying. Salary Range $16.90 per hour. Requirements:
