Qualifications Essential Responsibilities:
Sports Conditioning Support- Ability to lead student-athletes through conditioning training.
- Assist instructors during sports conditioning classes.
- Help set up and organize equipment before and after workouts.
- Monitor students to ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Encourage positive participation and sportsmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment. Game and Event Supervision
- Assist with supervision of athletic contests and special events.
- Monitor spectator and student behavior to promote a safe and positive atmosphere.
- Support coaches, officials, and event staff as needed.
- Assist with crowd management and respond appropriately to routine game-day situations. Athletic Director Support
- Provide administrative assistance with scheduling, communication, and organization.
- Help maintain athletic records, inventories, and equipment tracking.
- Prepare materials for meetings, events, and athletic programs.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience working in athletics, coaching, fitness, recreation, or education is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, coaches, and parents.
- Ability to lift and move athletic equipment (up to 40 pounds).
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understanding of sports conditioning and athletic safety practices.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
