Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and visionary Middle School Principal to lead our dynamic educational community. This pivotal role involves fostering a positive learning environment, inspiring both staff and students, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education. As a leader committed to excellence, you will oversee all aspects of school operations, curriculum implementation, and community engagement. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets educational standards and promotes student engagement. Lead the recruitment, development, and supervision of faculty and staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team. Oversee school administration, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with district policies and regulations. Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders to support student success and school growth. Design and execute fundraising initiatives to support school programs, facilities, and extracurricular activities. Facilitate professional development opportunities focused on teaching excellence, classroom management, and leadership skills. Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate that encourages diversity, equity, and respect among all members of the school community. Lead strategic planning efforts to set long-term goals aligned with educational best practices and community needs. Engage in public speaking at school events, board meetings, and community gatherings to advocate for the school's vision and achievements. Skills Proven experience in education administration with a strong background in curriculum development and classroom teaching. Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, supervising staff, and guiding organizational change. Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and fundraising to ensure sustainable growth. Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire through public speaking and foster collaborative relationships. Strong understanding of student development principles and working directly with diverse student populations. Experience in managing school operations while maintaining compliance with educational policies. Ability to lead initiatives in classroom innovation while supporting teachers' professional growth. MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, or a related field preferred and will be given first consideration. Additional coursework required for eligibility toward a Colorado Principal License is required or must be completed within an agreed-upon timeframe.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five (5) years of teaching and/or administrative experience in K - 12 education.PREFERRED EDUCATION, FORMAL TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Prior leadership experience in a secondary school setting, demonstrating an understanding of the developmental, instructional, and social-emotional needs of students in grades 6 - 8; Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations, including multilingual learners and culturally responsive teaching practices; Demonstrated work experience in supporting and coaching teachers on curriculum, instruction, and assessment strategies; Bilingual proficiency preferred. Formal training, coursework, or professional experience that demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with bilingual students, families, and staff is highly valuedLICENSES & CERTIFICATION
Colorado principal licensure or eligibility for Colorado administrative licensure.Pay:
