The High School Principal will serve as the high school educational leader responsible for the development, implementation, supervision & evaluation of a comprehensive program of educational & student services. Serves as an advocate for the students, staff, school, & school community.

Responsibilities and Duties/ Essential Job Functions:

Creates a school culture that promotes the ongoing improvement of learning & teaching for students & staff. Leads the development, implementation & evaluation of plans for increasing student achievement. Assists staff with alignment of curriculum, instruction & assessment of learning goals. Monitors, assists, & evaluates effective instruction & assessment practices. Coordinates and participates in the selection of personnel for the purpose of recommending qualified candidates. Delegates responsibilities for various administrative functions to personnel for the purpose of managing the school effectively & utilizing the talents of other staff members. Implements policies, procedures, & processes for the purpose of providing direction and/or complying with mandated requirements. Represents the school in the community for the purpose of maintaining ongoing community support for educational goals and/or assisting with issues related to the school environment. Performs other duties as may be deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the department. Qualifications The High School Principal should have a master's degree or higher. Minimum of five years of teaching experience. Knowledge & demonstrative skills in the use of technology. Excellent organizational & communication skills. Salary based on experience.
