Job Description
Living Water Christian School is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and Christ-centered Principal to provide leadership and oversight for our preschool and private school program. The principal will be responsible for providing strong educational and administrative leadership while helping maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and Christ-centered environment for students, families, and staff.
Responsibilities include:
Provide daily leadership and supervision of the school and preschool program Supervise, support, and evaluate teachers and staff Ensure compliance with applicable DCF, school, and educational requirements Assist with staff hiring, training, scheduling, and professional development Oversee curriculum implementation and instructional quality Maintain positive relationships with parents and families Address student, staff, and parent concerns professionally Monitor classroom environments and educational practices Assist with enrollment and school growth Maintain accurate records and required documentation Participate in meetings, events, and school activities Must agree with our Christian Statement of Faith.
Qualifications:
Director Credential/license VPK Endorsement Bachelor's Degree or higher 5 years plus previous experience in school or preschool administration/leadership Strong communication and organizational skills Experience supervising teachers and staff Knowledge of Florida childcare and/or private school requirements Ability to work effectively with children, parents, teachers, and administration Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Must meet applicable Florida background screening requirements

Pay:
$35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
