Job Description
Overview:
Hillcrest Elementary School seeks a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our educational institution as an Assistant Principal. As the Assistant Principal, you will be crucial in providing leadership and guidance to our school community. You will oversee the daily operations, implement educational policies, and ensure a positive learning environment for students and staff.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve academic excellence and meet school goals
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student success and well-being
- Supervise and evaluate teaching staff, providing support and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective curriculum and instructional practices
- Ensure compliance with educational standards, policies, and regulations
- Manage school budgets, resources, and facilities effectively
- Establish strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community
- Lead school-wide initiatives to enhance student engagement, achievement, and overall school performance
- Oversee student discipline procedures by school policies
- Represent the school at community events and engage in public speaking engagements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid teaching certification or education administration license
- Proven experience in an educational leadership role, preferably as a Principal or Assistant Principal
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of educators
- Sound understanding of education administration principles and practices
- Ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis and strategic planning

Full-time Pay:
$65,955.00- $80,055.
