Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ESL School Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our English as a Second Language (ESL) school. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic planning, manage faculty and staff, ensure educational excellence, and foster a vibrant learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with educational regulations, developing innovative curricula, and promoting professional growth among team members. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive ESL curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs. Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and administrative functions to ensure smooth functioning. Manage faculty recruitment, supervision, evaluation, and professional development initiatives to foster a high-performing teaching team. Develop and manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while supporting program growth and quality. Ensure compliance with all relevant educational laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to ESL and K-12 education. Facilitate strategic planning efforts to expand program offerings, improve student outcomes, and enhance community engagement. Lead fundraising activities and cultivate partnerships to support school initiatives and infrastructure development. Supervise school staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff, promoting teamwork and a positive school culture. Provide public speaking engagements to promote the school's mission and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Oversee faculty evaluation processes, instructional leadership initiatives, and classroom quality assurance measures. Coordinate student services including special education law compliance, childhood development programs, and working with students from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications Proven experience in school administration or management within an educational setting; prior school legal knowledge is highly desirable. Extensive background in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and managing budgets as an executive education administrator. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising personnel in K-12 or early childhood education environments. Deep understanding of educational compliance regulations including special education law and childhood development standards. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, fundraising, and managing school operations at a senior leadership level. Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements and stakeholder engagement. Classroom teaching experience coupled with management expertise in education administration is essential. Familiarity with managing faculty evaluation processes, professional development facilitation in schools, and working with diverse student populations.
