Job Description

Everglades University is an accredited, private not-for-profit university offering innovative bachelor's and master's degree programs that prepare students to advance in their careers or fields of study. The EU Sarasota campus is seeking high energy, results-oriented, individuals who can work in a fast paced environment, demonstrates effective decision making skills and a students first focus. Experience in any of the following preferred: Career Services, Placement, Recruiting, Events Planning, or Community Resources. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree and 1 year of experience preferred. This is a full time position that requires day, evening and weekend availability. DESCRIPTION
Everglades University Sarasota Campus is seeking a Student Services Directors who is responsible for the delivery of Career Placement Services and Student Services for the campus. The Student Services Director accomplishes this through: Providing placement assistance and career development to students and graduates Providing excellent customer service to students and handles their requests in a timely manner Developing and maintaining employer and community partner relationships Coordinating and participating in the start week Orientation and activities for new student orientation Attending EU Departmental Meetings Attending campus meetings Assisting and monitor Institutional Effectiveness goals, such as surveys and assessments Ensuring campus meets and exceeds student satisfaction goals for Student Services Dept. and overall campus satisfaction Updating the quarterly Institutional Effectiveness campus master plan Providing Community referrals to students and graduates Provide search strategies, and interviewing techniques Provide job leads and maintain part-time/full-time job bulletin board Maintain accurate placement statistics on all graduates on computer Online career center maintenance Campus announcements Call graduates not placed or placed out of field Engage in on campus and off campus employer visits every month representing both new and existing employers from the community. 20 Off-Campus Employer visits per month. These are face-to-face visits with the hiring manager. Coordinate and facilitate Student Government Association and Student Organizations Coordinate and facilitate student activities Complete monthly exit interviews and graduate surveys Obtain testimonials and photographs from graduates for the Wall of Fame Graduate Exit Seminars Order and distribute graduate diplomas Coordinate and facilitate new student orientation Attend recruiting and networking events Make student ID cards Conduct workshops Coordinate and facilitate Advisory Boards Meetings Plan, coordinate, and facilitate in campus graduation events Thank you for your interest in our school system.
