2500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904 Job Summary The Graduate Admissions Operations Student Support Specialist I is critical in providing student-focused customer service during the graduate admission process. Their primary focus centers on processing applications, executing admission requirements, and completing document imaging - scanning, imaging, and indexing. This Specialist also provides general data entry support in the student information system and CRM and will assist in other areas during peak times, including but not limited to issuing decisions, reviewing tuition classification, and completing transcript evaluation. Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to:

APPLICATION PROCESSING

Process applications for all incoming students from multiple systems. Enter, update, and maintain student information in Banner and Slate.

DOCUMENT IMAGING AND DATA ENTRY

Complete data entry and scan documents into Banner, Slate, and Xtender. Scan, image, and index application and student documents.

STUDENT FILE MANAGEMENT

Maintain student files by managing intake of new documents. Track transcripts and update checklists for all applicants and students.

QUALITY CONTROL AND REPORTING

Run reports to perform quality control checks on data entry. Review files and databases for accuracy and completeness.

ADMISSIONS SUPPORT

Assist during peak periods with issuing admission decisions. Review tuition classification. Complete transcript evaluations.

SPECIAL PROJECTS AND OTHER DUTIES

Perform other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned. Perform special projects, temporary duties, and other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization with one year of administrative or customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in BANNER, Xtender, Slate, Reporting Systems, transfer articulation or other student information systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

KNOWLEDGE

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases Operation of a personal computer, photocopier equipment, imaging scanners, and standard office machines SKILLS Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Attention to detail in collating and assembling printed or copied materials such as reports, bulletins, articles, and delivering finished materials

Salary:

$32,800.00/Annually-$38,589.10/Annually Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
