Job Description

Grade School Athletic Director

Scott County Catholic Schools is seeking an organized, energetic, and student-centered Grade School Athletic Director to lead and support our elementary athletic programs. This position plays a key role in creating a positive, faith-filled athletic experience that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth for our student-athletes.

Responsibilities Include:

Coordinate athletic schedules, practices, games, and events

Serve as the primary contact for parents, coaches, and school administration regarding athletics

Recruit, support, and oversee volunteer coaches

Ensure student eligibility and maintain required athletic documentation

Coordinate officials, facilities, transportation, equipment, and uniforms

Promote positive sportsmanship and uphold SCCS and diocesan policies

Manage athletic inventory and assist with program budgeting

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, coaches, and school staff

Knowledge of youth athletics and athletic program administration

Proficiency with technology and recordkeeping

Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education

Experience in athletics, education, coaching, or related fields is preferred.
