Job Description

Brief Job Description:
Performs professional administrative work in coordinating the Federal Inmate Program for the County Jail and its operation. This position is the liaison for the U.S. Marshall Service, Bureau of Prison, Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agencies. This position is responsible for preparing the annual budget for the jail operations.
Education Requirements:
Correctional Officer Certified Bachelors Degree from a 4-year college or university with major course work in Criminal Justice or a closely related field. Experience in Corrections, Behavioral Science, and/or Institutional Administration, or any combination of training and experience that provides knowledge and experience in these areas. Well-developed knowledge of Federal Inmate transportation and detention processes.
