Our district has 2 high schools, a Career and Technical School, a n alternative school, 3 middle schools, 9 elementary schools, an intervention program and a preschool. Our goal is for all students to successfully complete every course of study and to demonstrate proficiency on local, state, and national assessments. #32218 - 24 22 MAR 2018 SUMMARY Under general direction, to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures pertaining to the District Student services programs; to serve as a resource to Student services personnel concerning special subject and instructional programs; to review, monitor, and coordinate the functions and activities of the Student services instructional personnel; and to do other related functions as directed.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

This position classification requires subject matter expertise commonly taught in public schools, and coordination of early childhood curriculum and instructional processes. Directly related experience in special education programs is required to perform the required programmatic analyses using widely prescribed instructional principles and concepts.
