Organization Details Organization Information The Ohio County School System serves approximately 4000 students from P-12. We have 6 Title I elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 high school, a day treatment center and a technology center. Academic improvement on the KCCT shows achievement gap areas are closing. We serve a diverse population with 68% poverty and over 120 LEP students enrolled in our schools, the majority of which are enrolled at Beaver Dam Elementary. The facilities in Ohio County are a source of pride for the entire district. Beaver Dam Elementary, completed in 2009, has received the honor of being certified as an Energy Star School. Afterschool childcare and summer education programs are offered at Wayland Alexander and Beaver Dam Elementary. Migrant and ELL camp is available in the summer to meet the needs of at risk children.
