Early Head Start Partnership Specialist Community Action Council - 3.5 Lexington, KY Job Details Full-time $21.41 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Word Team leadership Spreadsheets Technical Proficiency Data manipulation Full Job Description This position serves as part of the Council's Office of Child Development team that ensures partnership compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and the Early Head Start Childcare Partnership (EHS_CCP) goals. Position is responsible for assisting EHS CCP sites with recruitment, enrollment, and ensuring eligibility for program. The job of the Early Head Start Partnership Specialist will be to build the capacity of the partnership and its teachers to enhance instructional practices at the classroom level, raise the level of student achievement, and ensure that each child's portfolio reflects all required documentation and will support the program's current school readiness goals. Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education or related field is required. Knowledge of Kentucky licensing regulations, Head Start Program Performance Standards, STARS for Kids Now and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation is preferred. Must be able to operate technology efficiently in carrying out duties and the aggregation of data. A working knowledge of excel, Microsoft Word, and the ability to manipulate the Council's internal data base is required. Must demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills including working as part of a team, leadership ability, ability to pay close attention to detail and lead others to a higher level of service delivery. Two years of relevant experience is required.
