Job Description
Job responsibilities include:
Visa Status and Guidance- Serve as Designated School Official (DSO) for SEVIS, including issuing I-20s and managing SEVIS compliance.
- Advise students on immigration issues and related school policies, ensuring they receive accurate guidance. This includes processing and following up on cases such as initial admissions, changes in status, and reinstatements within the school. Student Enrollment and Admissions
- Oversee student welfare and enrollment processes, including managing attendance and reporting on it. Maintain records in compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Recruit new students through daily phone calls and follow-ups, building relationships, addressing inquiries, and guiding them through the application process to maintain engagement and support.
- Process applications and provide information to prospective students via phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Assist with new student orientations and placement testing, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Manage student payments, including collection and posting to the student database.
- Issue transfer notifications and acceptance letters and manage poor attendance communications, including issuing letters and making follow-up calls/meetings. Administration and Marketing
- Support school marketing efforts, including attending open houses, sourcing promotional materials, creating content, and reporting on marketing activities. Enhance ASC's online presence through social media and SEO strategies.
- Analyze enrollment data and trends, assist in monthly reporting, and audit international student files for compliance.
- Create door signs and check materials for the first day of each session to ensure everything is prepared and organized.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed, including stepping in to support other ASC programs with operations, student inquiries, paperwork, and event coordination. Flexibility and collaboration across all ASC programs are essential to ensure smooth functioning and meet organizational needs.
- Assist with school maintenance, including helping with cleaning tasks and taking out the trash to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a school setting
- Fluency in another language is strongly preferred- Portuguese or Spanish most needed
- 2-3 years of student service experience, preferably with international students
- Ability to multi-task and work with others
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident by government regulation on SEVIS use.
Pay:
$44,000.00 - $49,000.00 per yearBenefits:
