Cover Supervisor - Dorchester Secondary School | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Immediate Start Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or education professional looking for your next opportunity in Dorchester? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work within a secondary school in Dorchester , supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups. This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing a classroom, enjoys working with young people and is looking to build further experience within a secondary school environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supervising classes in the absence of the usual classroom teacher Delivering pre-set lessons and ensuring students remain engaged Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment Managing behaviour in line with school expectations Supporting students with their learning Working alongside teaching staff and the wider school team

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with young people or within an educational setting Confident classroom and behaviour management skills A calm, approachable and professional manner Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions Reliable and adaptable approach to work Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is beneficial but not essential This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within secondary education , including graduates considering a future career in teaching.
