POSTING of VACANCY Staff Assistant Lawrence School 2026-2027 School Year 40 hours / 10 months a year
QUALIFICATIONS
: High School diploma. Ability and desire to work with students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to accept assignments as determined by the needs of the school. Very comfortable using online technology and being self directed. Must have a problem solver mindset. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Directly responsible to the designated staff principal for promoting and maintaining prescribed standards for behavior. Observe and discern potential problem areas and act in an effective manner to avert such problems. Maintain control over behavior during group gatherings. Act as an intermediary between teachers and students. Work closely with principals, teachers, guidance counselors and other staff personnel as well as developing good rapport with students. Monitor and report unacceptable student behavior. Supervise groups for short periods of time during student and/or teacher transitions. Organize student data. Manage MCAS materials. Fulfill such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal or Administrative Team.

In accordance with FEA Unit C contract
