Job Description
Statement of Duties:
- Rehearses after school as needed to prepare students for performances at the MA Educational Theatre Festival
- Facilitates the audition process for casting the play
- Oversees the student technical staff, creative team, and production staff
- Directs the play and/or advises any student directors
- Reserves space for rehearsals and performances in collaboration with the drama club advisor
- Attends all performances, rehearsals, and rounds of Festival
- Approves production related activities
- Holds production meetings and regularly communicates with the drama club advisor regarding marketing and other related activities
- Attends annual and any necessary meetings as a part of the MA Educational Theatre Guild Festival
- Responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Saugus School Committee.
- Determine that production activities are in accordance with the policies and regulations of Saugus Public Schools and Saugus School Committee.
- Responsible for other general duties related to the Saugus High School Activities Program as indicated by the Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and Policies of the Saugus School Committee.
