General Statement of Duties:
The Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Student Office Assistant will serve as a first point of contact for visitors to the SAS office. They must be able to provide a welcoming and inviting presence, share general information about the office and services, assist with office tasks, as well as assist with proctoring and other exam-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and walk-ins to the office. Answer phone calls or general emails Read exams out loud and or scribe for students' whose accommodations require it. Proctor quizzes, tests and exams taken by students who are registered with Student Accessibility Services and have approved test accommodations. Immediately report any sign of violation of the University's academic integrity policy. Attend a mandatory training session. Follow SAS protocols regarding exam accommodations and administration. Assist with creating accessible materials for students' whose accommodations require it. Other duties as assigned by SAS Professional Staff.

Required Qualifications:
Student in good academic standing. Demonstrated good executive functioning skills. Must be patient, empathetic, reliable, dependable and responsible. Commitment to the values and goals of Student Accessibility Services and Worcester State University.
