About Bridgton School House Bridgton School House is a new micro-school opening in Bridgton, Maine. We are seeking a highly organized and personable School Administrator to help manage the day-to-day operations of the school. This role is essential to the smooth functioning of the school. The School Administrator helps manage administrative systems, communication with families, and the daily needs of the school while serving as the welcoming presence families encounter when they call or visit. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and warm, and enjoys working in a small-school environment where relationships with families are an important part of the school community. Responsibilities Manage the daily administrative operations of the school Answer phones and respond to inquiries from prospective and current families Welcome visitors and represent the school in a professional and friendly manner Maintain student records, enrollment documents, and attendance Coordinate tuition billing and financial records Manage school communications including newsletters, announcements, and parent updates Oversee school social media and assist with advertising and outreach Order school supplies, classroom materials, and administrative needs Support enrollment inquiries and assist with the admissions process Help coordinate school events, meetings, and parent communications Maintain organized administrative systems and documentation Qualifications Administrative, office management, or school operations experience preferred Experience working in a school, educational program, or child-centered environment is strongly preferred A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered Strong organizational and communication skills Professional and welcoming demeanor when interacting with families and visitors Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a small-school environment Experience with communication platforms, social media, or marketing is a plus Comfortable working with administrative software, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools Ability to work independently and proactively Ideal Candidate You are someone who: Is highly organized and detail-oriented Communicates clearly and professionally Enjoys working with families and children Is welcoming, warm, and approachable Can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining an organized environment Compensation & Benefits Compensation is commensurate with experience and responsibilities 100% employer-paid individual health insurance plan 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Professional development support available Opportunities for growth as the school develops Role Growth & Additional Information This position may expand as the school grows Bridgton School House partners with Lakewood Apartments, a new residential community in Bridgton, to offer discounted rental options for educators who may be relocating to the area.
