JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Athletic Director assists in managing, promoting, organizing, and directing a program of interscholastic athletics, with a focus on developing foundational programs in addition to working in a position that meets their professional qualifications..
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in athletic administration, education, or a related field Administrative, budgeting, planning, and leadership skills High School coaching experience Ability to successfully communicate at all levels of the organization
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, coordinate, and oversee feeder programs in middle and elementary schools to build a sustainable pipeline of student-athletes for the high school athletic program. Assist in the supervision and administration of home athletic contests. Maintain high academic standards and expectations for participating student-athletes.
