Job Description
Overview of Position:
The Housing Intake and Resource Specialist serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking housing assistance and community resource information. This position is responsible for greeting clients, answering phones, conducting ESG pre-screens, entering accurate data into HMIS and other tracking systems, maintaining updated housing resource information, and supporting efficient front desk operations within the Housing Resource Center.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related experience preferred.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse individuals and community partners. Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and person-centered service delivery.
Preferences:
Experience in customer service, front desk support, homeless services, housing programs, or human services preferred. Familiarity with HMIS, data entry, intake processes, and basic office systems preferred.
