Job Description
Epiphany Catholic School is seeking a caring, reliable, and faith-filled individual to serve as a Recess Monitor / Student Services Assistant. This role supports the safety, well-being, and positive formation of our students during recess and other non-classroom times while contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the school day. The ideal candidate will build warm relationships with children and help create a joyful, ordered, and respectful environment consistent with our Catholic mission. Primary Responsibilities Supervise students during recess and other assigned periods to ensure safety and appropriate behavior. Actively monitor the playground, hallways, and other designated areas. Encourage positive peer interactions, fair play, inclusion, and conflict resolution. Respond promptly and calmly to minor injuries, behavioral concerns, or student needs; escalate more serious situations to appropriate staff. Support student services by assisting with arrival/dismissal, transitions, and other duties as assigned by administration. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in supervised areas. Communicate effectively and professionally with teachers, staff, and administration regarding student observations or needs. Uphold and reinforce school expectations, rules, and Catholic values in all interactions with students.
