The Cole County R-V School District is seeking qualified applicants for a K-12 Assistant Principal for the 2027-2028 school year . This 10-month administrative position will primarily oversee student discipline, behavior, attendance, and school climate across grades K-12 . The successful candidate will work closely with building principals, teachers, counselors, students, and families to maintain consistent expectations and a safe, positive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include student supervision, behavioral and attendance interventions, parent communication, student safety matters, and collaboration with staff and support services. The Assistant Principal will also be responsible for developing and coordinating the secondary master course schedule in collaboration with the secondary counselor and under the oversight of the building principal . Applicants must possess a Master's Degree, appropriate Missouri Principal certification, and a minimum of two years of successful classroom teaching experience . Cole County R-V is seeking a candidate who is highly visible, approachable, organized, consistent, and capable of building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
