Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Athletic Director and Physical Education Teacher for grades K-8 to lead our school's athletic programs and foster a vibrant, health-conscious environment for students. This role combines strategic program development with hands-on teaching, ensuring students develop essential physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for youth development, strong administrative skills, and experience in educational settings that promote active lifestyles. Duties Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive athletic programs aligned with school goals, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship among K-8 students Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons tailored to different age groups, fostering motor skills, fitness, and healthy habits Manage the scheduling of sports events, practices, and competitions while coordinating with staff and external partners Supervise coaching staff and student athletes to ensure safety, fair play, and positive team dynamics Maintain accurate records of student participation, athletic achievements, and injury reports using educational administrative software Collaborate with school administrators on program development initiatives that enhance student wellness and extracurricular engagement Lead efforts to promote inclusive participation across all grade levels and ensure compliance with safety standards and school policies Experience Proven experience in education, teaching, or school experience with a focus on physical education or sports management Demonstrated success in program development within an educational or childcare setting Strong background in staff supervision, personnel management in education, and team leadership roles Familiarity with educational administrative software and productivity tools for record-keeping and communication. From $30,000.00 per year
