Our leading and expanding manufacturing company, serving industries such as auto, defense, medical, and industrial, is seeking an Extrusion Superintendent to join our North East, North Carolina team. This position is responsible for taking the initiative to increase production and productivity performance while reducing costs and plays a key role in reaching management's objectives through work force performance. Benefits:

80-95k starting salary + 15% annual bonus

M-F 8-5 OT

Requirements:

High School or equivalent. Required (Bachelor's Preferred) 7+ years manufacturing experience including 3+ years of Production Supervisory experience (Production/Shift Supv up to Superintendent level). Required Working knowledge of IATF (International Automotive Task Force). Required Microsoft Office Suite skills and knowledge. Required Working knowledge in the use of measuring tools (tape, calipers, micrometers) and basic machine setup.

Required Key Responsibilities:

Develop extrusion department goals in conjunction with plant manager Communicate progress against targets Develop improvement plans with each dept based on measurable and schedulable actions Meet monthly budget and raise alerts when we deviate - good or bad. Assign direct reports responsibilities that they own to meet department goals Review schedule to see recovery, productivity, qty, die issues, resolve before schedule goes to press Ensure there are safe job procedures for all jobs in the department and update as needed.
