Job Description
Qualifications Education:
A bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree in Educational Administration, College Student Personnel, or other related fields is preferred. An equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be considered for substitution of educational requirements.Experience:
Involvement and/or leadership experience with a campus programming board or other student organization is required. At least two years of experience in academic advising, event planning, educational administration, leadership training, or related student affairs experience is required.Skills:
Excellent organizational abilities, written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated problem-solving ability are required. Computer literacy is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.Leadership:

Preparing and submitting the school's budget to the board for approvalReporting:
Preparing written reports for the board detailing the school's receipts and expenditures Student progress: Monitoring students' progress and the overall progress of the school Policy and procedure design: Designing policies, procedures, and programs Performance Based Management Responsibilities Lead, Manage, Accountability Responsible and accountable for the proper, efficient and successful operation of the school in all areas, with particular emphasis on: academic achievements, enrollment, operational and financial efficiency, and external relations and compliance Inspires staff and teachers to excel in their jobs. Assumes responsibility for the supervision and evaluation of school employees (direct or as ultimate on-site authority). Builds the instructional leadership capacity of principals with particular focus on instruction, data analysis, aligned interventions, community, and culture. Monitor day-to-day operations. Communicating with staff and faculty if there someone who will not be in for the day and who will be the person responsible for the coverage. Represent Josef's School of Hair, Skin & Body by participating in various networking events and meetings, to include, but not limited to the North Dakota Board of Cosmetology, NACCAS, Chamber Events and so on. The scope of the position frequently requires attendance at evening and/or weekend activities, meetings, seminars, and workshops. Position as the Title IX Coordinator and duties and responsibilities with documentation, reporting and ongoing training to this position. Customer Service Motivates students to achieve their highest potential. Conducts regular formal and informal classroom walk-throughs aligned to student achievement and strategic goals. Provides feedback on successful leadership practices, such as effective management of instructional staff, use of data, and establishment of school culture. Assists staff and site personnel in interpreting student test scores and recommending prescriptive materials and techniques to improve student performance. Process Management Compile, interpret and communicate data to determine school needs and inform instruction and systems management. Attends school-based meetings and events to foster a culture of engagement with staff, families, and community. Collaborates with team members to facilitate effective biweekly department meetings. Oversees, coordinates, and supports the mentoring program for staff and faculty. Participates in staff and other department meetings to maintain alignment between all departments and the work supporting the development of school leaders.Job Type:
