Requirements:

NJ Principal's Certificate Required (Standard, Provisional, or CE) Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience preferred; Minimal (5) years administrative experience preferred; Knowledge/experience with middle school best practices (for core and intervention instruction); Knowledge/experience with special education continuum of services; Knowledge/experience with middle school master scheduling; Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation process; Knowledge of Title I linked to whole school improvement; Ability to manage local, state, and federal funds (school level); Ability to strengthen family and community engagement; Knowledge of school law, assessment accountability, and NJ Student Learning Standards; Ability to work collaboratively with building and central office administration (in a large district setting).
