Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic After-School Director/Coordinator to lead and manage our after-school programs with enthusiasm and dedication. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, developing engaging educational activities, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and experience in school or childcare administration to create a vibrant after-school community that promotes learning, creativity, and social development. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, and implementation of diverse after-school programs that cater to the interests and developmental needs of students. Supervise and support program staff, including teachers, activity leaders, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee daily program operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, educational standards, and organizational policies. Manage communication with parents, school administrators, and community partners to promote program participation and address concerns. Maintain accurate records using educational administrative software and productivity tools; prepare reports on program outcomes and attendance. Develop budgets, allocate resources effectively, and oversee procurement of supplies necessary for program activities. Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, health regulations, and safety procedures in early childhood education settings or school environments. Requirements Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration is highly desirable. Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school experience coordinator. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and educational administrative software. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering team management skills. Experience working with children in childcare or early childhood education centers; familiarity with early childhood development principles preferred. Excellent writing skills for report writing, communication with stakeholders, and documentation purposes. Background in program development, education administration, or higher education administration is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high productivity levels. Pay:
$14.00 - $22.50 per hour Expected hours: 2.5 per week
