Regional Director

Job Description

About the Position We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Regional Director to provide leadership and operational support across multiple early childhood education locations in New Jersey. The Regional Director will work closely with School Directors and leadership teams to ensure strong school operations, high-quality educational programming, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, staffing, and overall business performance. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to multiple school locations. Partner with School Directors to establish goals, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement. Conduct regular school visits, walkthroughs, and operational reviews. Support leadership teams with staffing, recruitment, retention, scheduling, and employee development. Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures. Monitor enrollment, staffing levels, financial performance, and key operational metrics. Coach and develop School Directors and other members of the leadership team. Support employee relations, performance management, counseling, and corrective action when needed. Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, onboarding, training, employee concerns, and compliance. Ensure required staff training, certifications, and personnel documentation are completed and maintained. Support quality assurance initiatives and ensure classrooms and schools maintain high standards. Assist with new school initiatives, process improvements, and company-wide projects. Identify operational challenges and develop effective solutions. Communicate regularly with senior leadership regarding school performance, staffing, risks, and opportunities. Promote a positive, collaborative culture focused on children, families, and employees. Be available to provide guidance and support during urgent operational matters. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of leadership experience in early childhood education, education, multi-site operations, or a related field. Previous experience managing or supporting multiple locations strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of early childhood education operations and regulatory requirements. Experience leading, coaching, and developing management teams. Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze operational information and use data to make informed decisions. Strong understanding of staffing, recruitment, retention, and performance management. Ability to travel between school locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior leadership and school teams.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
