This position supports Dual Enrolled students with advisement, registration and will guide students in achieving their academic, career and personal goals. This position will spend time at partner high schools and reports to the Director of Early College and Dual Enrollment. The is a part-time, administrative position. Examples of Duties Advise students, families, and school personnelon all aspects of thedualenrollmentand early college programs Haveability to convey information aboutcollege programs, policies and proceduresincludingthe application process, placement and registration Assist students with course planning and scheduling. Accurately report and document student interactions and program activitiesto ensure compliance with PCCC regulations as well as the partner high school. Provide onboarding and support for Dual Enrollment students Provide outreach to students using email, phone, video, or in-person meetings. Refer students to college support services based on individual needs. Work with the academic advising staff to promote guidelines and information on academic programs and make appropriate referrals to academic advisors. Other duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preference forcounseling, education or related field Higher educationor high schoolexperiencepreferred Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to understand and apply college policies Maintain essential and confidential records Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds Computer literacy with Microsoft Office required Bilingualor multilingual preferred The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
