Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our innovative team. Responsibilities Collect, clean, and organize large datasets using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to present key insights clearly and effectively. Collaborate with business teams to analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver tailored analytics solutions. Perform data modeling and database design within SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to support scalable data analysis. Write complex queries using SQL to extract relevant data for analysis, reporting, and visualization purposes. Conduct analysis using R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other data analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Support the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of analytics applications. Develop dashboards that enable real-time monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business units. Engage in project management activities within Agile frameworks to ensure timely delivery of analytics initiatives. Maintain documentation using tools like Visio for process flows and data models to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams. Skills Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for dashboard development and reporting. Strong knowledge of SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; experience with query management is essential. Expertise in ETL processes with tools like Talend or custom scripting in Python or Bash for data integration tasks. Experience with database design principles and data model development to support scalable analytics solutions. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as Agile for managing project workflows efficiently. Advanced analysis skills using R, Python, Excel data analysis techniques, and other business intelligence tools. Ability to perform requirements analysis to translate business needs into technical specifications for dashboards or reports. Knowledge of software development lifecycle analysis for integrating analytics into broader applications or systems. Strong business analysis skills combined with excellent communication abilities to present findings clearly. Experience working with linked data sources and understanding of how they enhance comprehensive insights across systems.
