Job Description

Overview The Ruidoso Municipal School District, located in beautiful Lincoln County, New Mexico, is seeking an experienced, visionary, and high-integrity educational leader to focus on: 1) Student-Centered Governance & Instructional Leadership, 2) Community & Tribal Relations, 3) Fiscal & Operational Management, 4) Board & Stakeholder Partnerships, and 5) Personnel & District Leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid New Mexico administrative license or eligibility for a New Mexico administrative license
  • 5 years of school principalship and/or central office experience Candidate Characteristics and Key Skill Areas ∙ Strong integrity and values ∙ A proven record of supporting all students with educational programs and options ∙ Ability to implement student outcomes focused governance and progress monitoring ∙ Understanding of New Mexico public school finance, federal funding and local bond and mil elections ∙ Experience with school safety measures and cyber security ∙ Knowledge of school law and New Mexico legislative issues
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
