Job Description

The Coordinator of Student Success Initiatives will advance student success by directly engaging with students and supporting the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies to improve student outcomes. The Coordinator will utilize student success technology platforms and systems to support student success efforts. The role also involves providing support for ongoing and new initiatives within the Office of Student Success Initiatives and across the broader Division of Student Engagement and Success. Responsibilities include contributing to the evaluation and enhancement of student success programs, monitoring key performance indicators, and participating in collaborative efforts to create data-informed practices and solutions. The Coordinator will also assist with planning, training, and communication efforts to ensure the success of departmental and divisional goals. Student Success Outreach Assist in coordinating, implementing, and evaluating assigned student success intervention and outreach initiatives aimed at increasing undergraduate student success outcomes. This includes early alert outreach, midterm grade outreach, re-enrollment campaigns, and outreach related to other key student success indicators. Population-level Support Provide direct outreach and support to assigned student populations, which may include commuter students, transfer students, and scholarship recipients connected to the Student Success Initiatives office. Initiative and Program Management Assist in supporting, implementing, and evaluating initiatives and programs hosted by the Office of Student Success Initiatives. Supervision Supervise assigned graduate and undergraduate student staff connected to the Office of Student Success Initiatives. Assessment Assist with regular review and evaluation of programs and initiatives associated with assigned student outreach. Identify and research best-practice strategies to continually improve initiatives.
