Cllabrates in the develpment f a cmprehensive instructinal imprvement system, fully aligned t standards, assessments, curriculum framewrks, instructin, resurces and materials and interventi ns. Principal will cllabrate with parents, cmmunity members, schl staff, district administratrs, as well as ther internal and external stakehlders t implement innvative strategies t accelerate student achievement. Cllabrates in implementing a cmprehensive instructinal imprvement system that includes the expansin and integratin f real-time schl and district data int the Standards Aligned Systems (SAS) nline tl (e.g., diagnstic assessments, vluntary mdel curriculum) with an interface that prvides easy-t-access and interpret infrmatin, custmized (e.g., teacher, parent) passwrdprtected feature and additinal applicatins and t ls. Cllabrates in cnducting a summer staff data review meeting; quarterly staff data review meeting; bi-weekly leadership data team meeting and audits the weekly teacher cllab rative planning meeting. Develps and crdinates educatinal prgrams thrugh meetings with staff, review f teachers' activities, and issuance f directives. Cnfers with teachers, students, and parents cncerning educatinal and behaviral prblems in schl; Insures prper placement f students within the verall educatinal pr gram. Reviews the quarterly early warning system reprt t assess the effectiveness f interventins in helping at-risk students and t devise new actin plans t fr newly identified and previ usly identified at-risk students. Reviews and discusses the schl's gals articulated in its schl imprvement plan and use data t assess whether the schl is n track t achieving the g als. Wrks cllabratively with the departments f Cmmunity & Student Services, ESL, and Instructinal Supprt Services in the design, and implementatin f prjects and prgrams that will meet the specific needs f students with specialized needs. Wrks clsely with the Executive Directr f Instructin t execute the fcused gals set f rth by the Superintendent. Wrks cllabratively with the Executive Directr f Planning and External Funding and the Directr f Grants and Develpment t ensure that Title I funds, schl imprvement funds and ther grants are linked t the strategic plan and the data reflecting student achievement needs such as the PSSA, 4Sight and ther data that are used t infrm cntinuus instructinal impr vement. Prvides supervisin, leadership, and evaluatin f each prfessinal emplyee as designated by the Superintendent f Sch ls. Remains current in studies f best practices in instructin and keeps infrmed f federal, state, and lcal regulati ns. Helps parents/guardians/students in reslving student/parent/staff cmplaints and safety c ncerns. Wrks cllabratively with principals in establishing safety net prgrams that will maximize pprtunity fr students t meet grade level expectati ns and State and ASD standards. Presents infrmatin and respnds t questins frm prfessi nal staff, and the general public. Wrks in establishing annual staffing plans t meet the enrllment and instructinal needs f the sch l. Interfaces with the Directr f Assessment in using data t infrm the wrk f each f the sch l supervised. Develps and crdinates educatinal prgrams thrugh meetings with staff, review f teachers' activities, and issuance f directives. Cnfers with teachers, students, and parents cncerning educatinal and behaviral prblems in sch l. versees initiatin, design, and implementatin f prjects and prgrams that will meet the specific needs f students including th se with disabilities. Crdinates the design, develpment, implementatin, and evaluatin f curricula with the assistance f apprpriate district facilitatrs and administrat rs. Supervises building discipline, student, faculty, and staff attendance, and class schedules, cumulative recrds, and grade reprting ensuring that all are cnsistent with district plicies and regulati ns. Establishes and maintains relatinships with clleges, cmmunity rganizatins, and ther schls t crdinate educati nal services. Administers educatinal prgrams f r students with special needs. Reads, analyzes, and interprets prfessinal jurnals, studies f best practices, and federal, state, and lcal regulati ns. Supervises extracurricular prgrams and evaluates these pr grams by regular attendance at these events. Cmputes pupil/teacher ratis, percentages, and interprets bar graphs and ther data pertinent t educatinal leadership and instructi nal achievement. Defines prblems, cllects data, establishes facts, and draws valid cnclusi ns.
