Position Summary & Description IUP Student Billing Office is seeking applications from self-motivated students who are capable of working in a fast-paced and confidential environment. We are looking for student with initiative, who are detailed oriented. proficient with computers, and reliable.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Student Services
- Answering phones
- Assisting customers at front desk
- Assist staff with projects and updating student records, as needed
- Distributing mail and running errands on campus
- Filing Position Qualifications The department is interested in candidates who have excellent communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members.
Must be professional, reliable, and responsible. A background in Accounting, Business or Finance is preferred but all majors are welcome to apply. Candidates must communicate effectively and perform well in an interview. Essential Functions Ability to work on location at Clark Hall (no remote work available) Communicate both orally and in writing to issue, receive and carry out instructions and orders effectively and to convey information to co-workers and the student/parent/guardian population Use a variety of common office machines such as a multi-line telephone system, adding machines, computers, copiers, etc Have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Maintain confidentiality Perform manual duties such as lifting and carrying various weight limits. Operate office equipment which may require stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching and prolonged standing.
