Annually Schedule:
Midday shift (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 5 days a week At Echo Glen Children's Center, we believe every young person has the potential to grow, heal, and thrive. The Opportunity As an Associate Superintendent, you will serve on Echo Glen's executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Superintendent. You will oversee daily facility operations, lead staff, and help advance DCYF's Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) to ensure safe, effective, and rehabilitative outcomes for youth. Some of what you'll do: Lead operational oversight across residential units, mental health services, education, vocational training, and security. Direct implementation of the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Oversee PREA compliance, serious incident reporting, and internal investigations. Lead recruitment and hiring to build a qualified, diverse workforce. Serve as Officer of the Day or Designated Suicide Prevention Specialist on a rotating basis. Manage contracts and contribute to budget oversight. Required Qualifications Seven years of management experience in a social service or similar organization, including one year of supervisory experience. OR A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field, plus five years of management experience, including one year of supervisory experience. OR A Master's degree in a related field, plus four years of management experience, including one year of supervisory experience.
Preferred:
Knowledge of juvenile justice, adolescent development, and CBA administration. Experience with DBT or similar treatment models. Strong communication skills across diverse audiences.
