In-School Suspension Supervisor Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree or 60 college credit hours from an accredited college or university to meet the Highly Qualified requirement of the NCLB Act; A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a high school setting is highly desired. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable.

Rate of Pay:
Based upon credentials and experience in accordance with the district-approved pay schedule.
Performance Responsibilities :
Assumes primary responsibility for the direct supervision of students assigned to the in-school suspension program. Works with teachers to develop supplementary work and materials for students. Assumes responsibility for securing and monitoring student work and submits completed work to the appropriate teachers. Maintains appropriate student behavior and reports inappropriate behavior to administration. Maintains an ISS room conducive to learning. Maintains accurate records of student behavior, attendance and academic progress. Works with students to re-enforce behavioral and social skills. Performs all other duties as assigned.
